GitHub App

The public, read-only AgentTraces GitHub App supplies pull-request and push metadata without write access to source code.

Install the app

Open https://github.com/apps/agenttraces and choose the repositories AgentTraces may inspect. The app requests read-only code, metadata, and pull-request permissions.

Connect the installation

An owner or admin binds the installation to a team. The cloud stores the installation ID and declared read permissions.

agenttraces github connect --team TEAM_ID --installation 12345 --account your-org

Automatic attribution

Signed pull_request webhooks upsert repository and PR records. Exact commit matches link at confidence 1; repository and branch matches remain inferred at confidence 0.8 until confirmed.
